These Vacu Vin replacement wine stoppers work with Vacu Vin Wine Saver vacuum pumps (sold separately). Once your Vacu Vin Wine Saver vacuum pump has removed excess air from an opened bottle of wine, the bottle is plugged with a rubber wine stopper, forming an air tight seal.
By removing excess air from the opened bottle before sealing, the Vacu Vin Wine Saver slows down the oxidation process, yielding more glasses per bottle than unsealed bottles, and saving you money. These rubber wine stoppers also prevent air from seeping into the bottle and prematurely turning your wine.
