First time we have used a product of this kind. Seems to work well, but we never have a bottle open for more than 2 days. Not sure if this product does much more than act as a pourer, but our bubbly is always bubbly, never flat with this.

Our bartenders like using these during brunch when we serve a lot of mimosas because they don't have to remove the top to pour the champagne or prosecco. The "patented pull down bottle grip" does not really grip the neck of the bottle tightly however. Supposedly, once you push down the flange on the bottom of the black part, it should lock onto the upper ring of the champagne bottle neck but it doesn't really lock onto the bottle and you can pop it off without releasing the lock and without much force. It is not a problem as long as you warn the bartenders not to pull up on the pourer.

Nice to have on champagne bottles to maintain carbonisation if you're not serving an entire bottle. A must have for bars serving expensive sparkling wines.
