Regal Extra Coarse Kosher Salt has no additives, and it has big crystals with large surface areas. This size and shape allows it to absorb more moisture than other forms of salt, and this makes kosher salt excellent for curing meats. That is essentially where the name comes from. The salt itself is not kosher, meaning it doesn't conform to Jewish food laws, but this salt is used to make meat kosher.

That's not the only use for Regal Extra Coarse Kosher Salt, however. The flavor is distinct from ordinary table salt and some cooks prefer to use it in their cooking. Like other coarse salts, kosher salt can be used in recipes that call for a salt crust. You can even use it to salt the edge of a margarita glass. Sold in a 16 oz. bottle.

    kosher salt at the lowest price i have seen anywhere else. This is a great item to have in the kitchen and a fine use on making pretzels etc.

    Great products a very reasonable if not cheap cost. Full of flavor and should be a must for your spice shelf. I would highly refer this !

    great price on this salt. we use it for rimming margaritas. and it works well with no problems. wuold definitely reccommend to anyone with a bar

    Great salt to have around and works well with dishes where you want some texture from the salt - wouldn't know the difference from a national brand except the lower price.
