Ideal for lamb and vegetable dishes, Regal Marjoram adds a pleasant, oregano flavor to your entrees. Pale green in color, these small leaf flakes have a minty -sweet flavor with slightly bitter undertones. Related to oregano, marjoram is derived from the dried leaves and floral parts of a perennial herb.

Regal Marjoram is mainly used for flavoring meat dishes, including sausage, lamb, beef, pork, chicken, and fish. It can also be used for tomato dishes, stuffing, breads, salad dressings, and chowders. Note that cooking quickly destroys the delicate flavor of marjoram; it is most commonly added at the last moment to many recipes.

    No complaints here, the dried marjoram is exactly what I expected and has a strong fresh smell. Use this just like you would oregano or thyme. It's a great addition to soups, sauces, and marinades, and adds both flavor and aroma. It's also a major source of antioxidants, so I try to add a pinch of marjoram whenever I can.

    Marjoram is a spice that is typically underutilized in the kitchen! This spice is great for herbed chicken on the grill or to create a homemade marinade!!!
