The blade and pusher head assembly creates clean and consistent 1/4" slices without mashing or bruising the tomato, resulting in a juicier and tastier final product. As the blade becomes dull, the Perma-Tight cartridge is easy to remove and dispose of, so you can swap in a new sharp cartridge with minimal downtime. A tomato catcher reduces messes and also increases sanitation.
50% Longer Blade Life
The fixed tension blades never require any manual adjustment or tightening, meaning less work for the operator. These durable stainless steel blades boast a 50% longer life than other comparable blades. The contoured pusher handle is ergonomically designed to minimize hand fatigue during long prep sessions.
Ergonomic Design
This high-volume version features 2 extra blades and a slight indent on the surface on which tomatoes are placed. Although this might seem like an insignificant difference, this allows you to get an extra full slice of tomato. Duralon bearings located in the pusher and carrier assembly are permanently-lubricated, so the pushing mechanism slides with little effort. A commercial-grade cast aluminum base holds up great to the wear and tear of a busy commercial kitchen.
