Constructed of seam-welded stainless steel and heavy-duty plastic components, this model peels large loads of root vegetables with no bruising to help you save time and increase your kitchen output! Each unit is easy to use and clean with simple switches, a removable silicon carbide-abrasive disk and Lexan liner, heavy-duty polyester plastic hopper cover, and water inlets for thorough washing.

This peeler features a 1 HP electric motor and comes with a four-minute timer that can be adjusted for any increment between 30 seconds to five minutes. A simple manual switch starts the unit. Water connection is a standard 1/2" female pipe thread. The Hobart 6460-3 potato peeler is UL and NSF listed and requires a 200V electrical connection.
