The 2.5 qt. Vollrath Wear Ever Classic Select 69442 heavy duty sauce pan is designed specifically for commercial kitchen use, and is built from heavy 6 gauge, impact resistant 3004 aluminum. Its TriVent chrome-plated steel handle features a unique ergonomic, vented design that reduces operator stress and fatigue, while reducing heat transfer from the pan to the handle more than 20 degrees Fahrenheit when compared to traditional handles.

A straight sided sauce pan like this is ideal for creating and reducing sauces and soups, as well as simmering and boiling foods in liquids. The wide bottom area of the pan also allows for maximum heat conduction while cooking.

To control evaporation and accelerate cooking, use the 67327 flat cover or the 67427 domed cover (each sold separately). NSF Listed.

    2.5 QT is a nice size for making any kind of sauce in my restaurant. we use the sauce pan for making all different sauce by gentle slow heat. another great product from vollrath.
