This will work very well. It's sharp, but bigger than what I should have ordered, which is my fault & not the making of the saw. We have lots of butchering to do so I'm sure it will work well. Only get this size IF you have big game, big antlers to remove, etc.

Bought this to help with butchering during game season. Shipped fast and well packed. Works well for that. Heavy duty, well made, would recommend for home meat processing.

This is a huge meat saw! I posted a picture for reference. I definitely would have been okay with a 16", but the bigger size allows for more uses, I guess. It is very sturdy and I'm very confident that it can cut through bones without a hitch

We love this weston butcher meat saw. The saw cuts through bones with ease. The blade comes out which makes it easy to clean and can be replaced if it goes dull.

Very sharp. Makes cutting through large cuts of meat a breeze, and is comfortable to hold for breaking down for longer periods when breaking down large cuts. Very happy with it, and especially at this price.

Based on the reviews on other sites, I was hesitant to purchase this but this is a really well built saw. The saw blade holder is almost 3/8" thick stainless steel and the lever that tightens the blade, while looking like plastic is actually metal(I think aluminum). The only plastic part is the handle but that is very sturdy. This items weighs quite a bit due to the amount on material but it is well worth it. Removing or changing the blade is probably my only real complaint as it can be tricky to do slowly as it goes from being very tight to loose very quickly. I used it to cut up some frozen lamb with bone on each side and it worked well but of course it took longer than using an electric version. For the price, you get a very high quality saw. Heck even high end construction saws are no match to this.

The 16 inch stainless steel hand meat saw is excellent and quick in getting through beef and pork bones. The grip is great and does not seem to get slippery while in use. The 16 inch is plenty long enough for my needs in butchering whole hogs.
