This unit features an open well with a low-water indicator light to eliminate guesswork. Boasting a top-mount self-insulating thermoset well and a 60" power cord lead, installation is a breeze in most areas, including solid-surface, laminate or metal countertops with cutout dimensions of 28 1/4" x 13 1/4"! Minimal heat transfer to the work surface allows this unit to be installed without a breaker strip. This model comes with a remote mounted individual power and heat control panel for precision-perfect thermostatic temperature control, and it holds full size or fractional steam table pans up to 4" deep (sold separately).

Cast in non-stick aluminum, dome heating elements in the bottom of the well use up to 25% less energy and reduce scale build-up for easy cleaning and longer operating life. This unit features Vollrath's direct contact heating system in which the heating element is in direct contact with the water for the most efficient heat transfer possible. The wide dripless lip catches and drains moisture back into the well and creates a more uniform fit with food pans and insets. This well also features an attractive beveled edge to further ease the cleaning process. This unit requires a 120V electrical connection.
