This convenient unit features sharp, scalloped blades that create a 3/8" slice and allow you to quickly cut through tomatoes and other items without pre-scoring the skin. Perfect for tomatoes up to 3 1/2" in size, this unit allows you to cut slices 5 times faster than by hand, making the Tomato Pro a great addition to high volume restaurants, fast food establishments, and other commercial kitchens.
The slicer is mounted on top of a raised, high density polyethylene base that is resistant to corrosion and designed for constant contact with tomato acids. Simply core your tomato, place it on the unit, and push the slicer through the fruit! And, thanks to the positive-stop arm, it's easy to keep the slicer study while slicing.
