I haven’t heard of R-290, R-600a, R-513a, or R-448A refrigerant before. What is it?
R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.

As part of the True Spec Series, this dual temperature refrigerator / freezer with two solid half doors delivers unbeatable performance and durability! This unit's top section features an independent freezer unit, while its bottom section features a separate refrigerator unit, providing both refrigerated and frozen storage in a compact footprint. The compressors are top mounted to prevent dust, food, or spills from damaging the unit's intake fans. It includes six heavy-duty adjustable chrome wire shelves that provide plenty of ways to organize products and ingredients. This model's state-of-the-art ECM evaporator / condenser motors reduce energy use and improve reliability.
It features heavy-duty metal door handles that are long-lasting. Its two solid stainless steel half doors and LED interior lighting make it easy to access the contents inside. With two independent, externally mounted digital displays, it is easy to monitor the separate temperatures of your fridge and freezer. Both the 1/10 hp refrigerator compressor and the 1/4 freezer compressor use R-290 refrigerant that has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3.
The freezer compartment features an automatic defrost feature. The entire unit is equipped with high-density, foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation. It also has self-closing doors with a 120 degree stay-open feature. This model has (4) 5" casters, two with locks, for maneuverability during cleaning. This unit requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
