Provide hot water with superb quality and a long service life by adding this Stiebel Eltron 187875 SBB 163 gallon indirectly fired water heater tank. This tank is installed as an indirectly-fired domestic hot water storage tank in conjunction with any type of boiler, geothermal, or solar hot water application. It features a heavy gauge steel construction with a porcelain enamel coating. Plus, for low standby heat loss, it has up to 3" R-21 polyurethane foam insulation with an ABS outer casing cover. It boasts a 162.9 gallon storage capacity.

This tank is equipped with welded steel plain-ended pipe heat exchangers. It has hot water corrosion protection through its special enamel coating and magnesium sacrificial anode and three immersion sleeves for housing the temperature probe and thermometer, circulation socket, and inspection/cleaning port with its cover. The clean-out port is large and offers easy maintenance. It features a 1" copper pipe cold / hot water connection via the adapter. The SBB series tank needs to be paired with a hot water heater for use.
