For quite awhile I’ve used arrowroot powder as a substitute for eggs as a binder of sorts. It is a root starch that acts as a thickener especially in baking and desserts. I’ve also found success in using arrowroot powder to make fried food more crunchy as well as make vegan dishes more enjoyable.

Have started using arrowroot powder as a substitute for corn starch. I find that Regal spices are some of the best value for the money. Happy I can easily order it through Webstaurant!

The spices are great quality, I ordered many. Makes it easy to locate what you need with uniform packaging. Price is very affordable and they came very quickly.

Regal Arrowroot Powder is a great thickener. My favorite way to use it is when canning homemade salsa. Just a little bit in a big batch thickens it slightly and keeps the mixture from separating. It doesn't change the flavor of the salsa what-so-ever.

I prefer this to cornstarch. I can only get the tiny spice bottle size at my local grocery store. I am happy to find these larger sizes available and at a good price.

Arrowroot powder is the most easiest digestible starch out there and I use it for my temptress of a stomach. Certain starches put me off and this one I haven't had any issues with. My favorite application is puddings and Dairy free ice creams. To be fair they are pretty much the same just ones frozen, still tasty.

Price is great for the quantity you get. I use this mostly to thicken soups, but have also used it in baking and for thickening gravy.

I like to use arrowroot powder in cosmetic that I make and also in baking. It very versatile in different applications and business projects and if a good value.

Wonderful gluten free thickening. This consistency is kinda like tapioca starch or corn starch and it thickens well. It has basically no flavor but adds nice texture to soups, sauce, or other items. It also helps get gluten free bread the right texture. We are going to try and make natural deodorant with it too with essential oils.

This is a great gluten-free thickener. I use it instead of a flour or cornstarch slurry. I add a bit to a food processor along with granulated sugar for DIY superfine. It's tasteless so it won't distort the flavor of your dish. If you're blonde, it's even a great dry shampoo!

I've recently have gone "gluten free", due to my dietery interences. Arrowroot Powder has become a staple in my cooking. This 20oz container is perfect and the price is great. It keeps the Arrowroot powder fresher longer. I will purchse this product again

We use arrowroot powder to thicken soups and stews. Such a great alternative to cornstarch and without the scary Cornstarch refinement process and always questioning “are there GMOs in this?”. I have also read that Arrowroot Powder is one easiest starches for the body to digest as well, which is just another reason why this product is so great.

After seeing the very reasonable prices on the spices I ordered 16 different ones. I will not buy them at the grocery store ever again. Thanks for making these available. They are as good as any "name brand" you pay premium prices for. I'm so glad I found this web site. I haven't been disappointed yet.

Really happy with this product, and the price is phenomenal. Arrowroot powder produces a brighter sauce with less cooking time (and temperature) than cornstarch requires. I have used it to thicken pan sauces, and also for fruit glazes.

I was skeptical about using this to cook with. i have always used cornstarch as a thickener. My husband said no more cornstarch get some Arrowroot!. So I bought a small jar at our local amish store at a very high price. I was happy with it and went thru it really fast. So I ordered me this jar. There's no comparison. The amount you get for the price is unbeatable! This is a better quality product. I will certainly never buy another brand or buy from anywhere else. We are once again VERY pleased with another product from webstaurant.

Regal Arrowroot powder is a great alternative to cornstarch and flour for thickening. It makes a nice smooth sauce or gravy that my family loves!

This is a great buy for fruit sauces. It keeps them from being cloudy and there is no long cooking like you would normally endure when trying to get the cornstarch taste out of a really thick fruit sause.

Great arrowroot powder, very fine and smooth. Good substitute to corn starch and healthier. Works well in lower temperature recipes, fruit pie fillings and desserts.
Jeremiah G. Posted on 09/28/2014
My sister suggested this and we were not quite sure. But it is a great thickening agent for sauces and we love it. It doesn't take away any taste of whatever you are adding it to.
Ashley P. Posted on 04/13/2014
This stuff works better than cornstarch when thickening is needed in a recipe. The price was perfect for my budget and I got a pretty good amount.

First time ever hearing of arrowroot. Used it and loved it. I have used it in homemade fruit filling like blueberry and apple filling for cobblers. A must have dessert makers

Regal Arrowroot Powder 20 oz. was a much larger container then I expected. Very small price to pay for a large amount. The arrowroot is very fresh and easy to make ointments from.

I have been experimenting with home-made ice cream. One of the recipes called for arrowroot. I was previously unfamiliar with the product, but I was very pleased when I saw it was available at the Webstaurant Store at such a great price!
Judith C. Posted on 11/10/2013
This Arrowroot works great it is as good as cornstarch. The price is also great and it arrived it just one day this is a super product from a super supplier.
Thomas W. from TRW Posted on 07/24/2013
This arrowroot works great! I was a bit nervous about the thickening ability of a cheaper product, but it works just as good as the name brands!
Tom M. Posted on 02/22/2013
The name may not be well known at this time but it will be soon with the quality of the product for the price. Two thumbs up.
David U. from JONABELLA CATERING Posted on 01/24/2012
I HAVE RECOMMENDED ARROWROOT TO SEVERAL OF MY FRIENDS WHO HAVE USED CORN STARCH AS A THICKENER. ARROWROOT LEAVES MY DISHES LOOKING ELEGANT BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF STAYING CLEAR AT LOWER TEMPERATURES. PEPPER STEAK IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES AS WELL AS FISH DISHES SERVED WITH RICE (OR PASTA) THICKENED WITH CHICKEN BROTH AND ARROWROOT. COOKING LOOKS MORE GORMET AND TASTES GOOD.
