I haven’t heard of R-290, R-600a, R-513a, or R-448A refrigerant before. What is it?

R-290 (also known as high purity propane or CARE 40) and R-600a (also known as refrigerant grade Isobutane or CARE 10) are hydrocarbon refrigerants. R513a (also known as Opteon XP10) and R-448A (also known as Solstice N40) are HFO (hydrofluoroolefin) refrigerants. They are being used by some manufacturers in response to the EPA’s Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP) Program.

Why are the dimensions in the title different from the actual dimensions in the description?

The dimensions given in the title represent an “industry standard” – a basic size that most manufacturers produce and that people in the industry use to easily identify a type of item. However, not all manufacturers produce their products the same way. For example, a title might say 12", but the item may actually be slightly larger or smaller. Designed to accommodate the inevitable spill or leak, the unit's interior features a stainless steel floor, which won't rust or corrode. For additional durability, the unit boasts a black powder-coated steel exterior with door threshold protection and a stainless steel countertop with a reinforced lip. This tough construction helps minimize damage to the cabinet from routine loading and unloading, ensuring that it withstands the test of time in your bustling business.

To promote easy product retrieval at all times, the unit features bright and even LED interior lighting. The easily replaceable, energy-efficient LEDs generate less heat than fluorescent bulbs to keep internal temperatures low, and because they last significantly longer than other lights, you'll save money on replacement costs over time. The lights are safety shielded for added peace of mind.

The unit includes six shelves that will aid in organizing your merchandise. Plus, the heavy-duty PVC-coated wire shelves are adjustable in 1/2" increments to help you organize your ice-cold beverages and an appealing, efficient way! This back bar refrigerator ensures optimal performance by operating with a 1/4 hp refrigeration system that circulates R-290 refrigerant to maintain temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit. R-290 refrigerant has an ozone depletion potential (ODP) of 0 and a global warming potential (GWP) of 3. The high-density foamed-in-place insulation helps maintain temperatures and provides additional structural strength to the cabinet. This unit requires a 115V electrical connection for operation.
