Customer questions about this product
- I’m having difficulty slicing tomatoes with my mandoline – am I doing something wrong?
- A ripe tomato will be too soft and delicate for a mandoline to slice effectively. Mandolines work best with firmer, denser items, such as carrots and cucumbers. If you need to slice lots of tomatoes quickly and consistently, check out our selection of tomato slicers!

Great mandolin for the price, this mandolin holds up great and slices everything we need. The waffle cut feature is a little bit hard to use, but the straight blade works great!

I was torn about this. We use another slicer to slice all our veggies and I wanted this to use when we were on the make line in a hurry. The blades are very sharp but the bottom part were the veggie goes after you slice it is not level so when you go to slide the veggie back up it catches and tears the veggie. This would pry be great for home use, but I would not recommend it for a restaurant.

Thank you for your review! We're sorry to hear your mandoline is tearing your vegetables. Mandolines are designed to cut harder, denser items such as carrots and cucumbers. They will have trouble cutting softer foods such as tomatoes. Take a look at our "Customer Question" above for more information.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my father in law and he LOVES it. He used it to make cheesy potatoes so far, and he can't wait to make coleslaw. Great deal!

The stainless steel mandolin with the built-in blades works awesome. Very easy to adjust size of cut or the variation of the cut with no blades to change around.
