Can I leave the case on my device while charging it in this unit?

This depends on your unit and the type of case you have. Luxor’s LLTM series features slimmer shelves that are perfect for tablets, while their LLTP units are ideal for laptops. While these can be used with very slim, streamlined cases, we would advise making sure that the unit has enough airflow around the devices to prevent overheating. If you find that your unit is overheating, you may need to remove the devices from their cases. Be sure to verify that the width between the dividers will comfortably accommodate your device with room to spare for adequate circulation.

Luxor LLTM30-B Details

The Luxor LLTM30-B tablet and Chromebook charging cart is a great choice for classrooms, conference rooms, and offices! It will hold and safely secure up to 30 tablets (sold separately). This black steel cart comes with the cabinet and tablet shelf already assembled so that a minimum of work is required to get it up and running.

The interior of the cabinet has an adjustable top shelf that will hold up to fifteen tablets (sold separately) and adjusts in 1" increments for between 3 1/4" - 7 1/4" of clearance. The middle shelf has between 8" - 12" clearance, and the bottom shelf has 11 1/4" clearance to allow you to store a variety of devices. Rubber coated dividers inside the cabinet keep your tablets protected and organized. Each divider is 1" apart, allowing plenty of room for whichever device you choose to store. Behind the shelves, this cart features two 16-outlet vertical electrical assemblies on the rear panel for the most efficient use of space. Electrical cords power the unit through two small holes on the bottom of the unit.

The cart has ventilation holes in both the front and rear access doors and on the sides to allow plenty of air movement, keeping your devices cool while they are charging. Also, the top of the cart is padded to provide a convenient presentation surface if you need it. Do you need to move the cart from one room to another? This cart includes four 4" casters and a handle that allow for easy maneuvering. Two of the casters have locking brakes to ensure that this cart stays where you want it.

The heavy duty locking system on the single door allows you to secure your devices and not have to worry about someone tampering with them. The heavy duty traditional lock and key system comes with two keys for your convenience.
