This grill pan works great for sandwiches and meat. I purchased the Lodge 8 1/4 in cast iron ribbed grill press to go along with it, and the two fit together perfectly, Heat the grill press up with this pan, and you can make panini without needing to flip it. This also works great for chicken, and leaves nice marks on it.
we use this pan almost every day. whether its for the random chicken breast or a burger. it always gets the job done and leaves nice grill marks. It doesn't seem any harder to clean than a regular cast iron skillet

I like this Pre-Seasoned Cast iron square grill pan very much . I use it for vegetables : mushrooms , sweet pepper , and even carrots . The meat is ready just in several minutes .

This item arrived in very good condition (which I expected from this company). The Pan itself is absolutely amazing. It has ridges in the bottom of the pan hold the juices from the meat and marinade and keep the food from drying out while cooking. AMAZING PRODUCT
This cast iron grill pan beats any electric grill or panini press on the market. The only pitfall to this piece of cookware is the added difficulty in cleaning between the ridges. However that is a very small inconvenience in comparison to the several advantages it offers over its electronic counterparts. Be sure to pick up the plastic cleaning pieces for this as they will take half of the hassle out of the cleanup process.
This pan is a nice pan however it will rust easy if not properly cared for. The pan needs to be hand washed and oiled after use.
