Haul heavy loads while keeping your staff and inmates safe with this Lakeside PB1500 PrisonBilt correctional heavy-duty utility cart. PrisonBilt products are specifically designed and engineered to meet the needs of corrections facilities. Made to be tamper-resistant, eliminate pry points, and take the punishment of heavy-duty use, this cart has an all-welded construction with special heavy-duty casters.
This model features a U-frame angle leg design and utilizes 1" thick square stainless steel tubing reinforcements under the 14 gauge shelves so that it can withstand heavy loads. It can also take the abuse of having items dropped onto the shelves as workers quickly load and unload the cart. Since it is made of stainless steel it is easy to clean and sanitize. Plus, it resists corrosion so that it can be used in nearly any environment.
The no-mark casters help to keep your institution clean and tidy, while the extra-load caster design means that they can take heavy loads. They also allow the cart to move easily over uneven and rough surfaces. Overall, this cart has a load capacity of 1500 lb. of evenly distributed weight.
