For better mix and more tender results when grinding meat, it is beneficial to chill it and grind it while it is very cold or partially frozen. Grinding beef twice will also improve the texture of your meat. When grinding bread for bread crumbs, beware of grinding bread that is not entirely dried as it may jam your food grinder.

When cleaning this attachment, the grinder body, grinder worm, ring, and combination food pusher/wrench are all dishwasher safe. The knife and grinding plates should be hand washed in warm, soapy water and dried thoroughly.
