How can I get the best performance from my Town smokehouse?
We recommend adding an accessory kit to your smokehouse in order to produce the best quality smoked meats possible. Your unit seals in flavor from the naturally occurring fat drippings in your meats, but with the accessory kit installed you'll be able to use a woodchip box to add delicious, wood smoke flavor. Not only that, the accessory kit includes 9 levels of shelves that allow you to smoke multiple portions of meat and cheeses at a time. Purchase an accessory kit to get the best performance out of your Town smokehouse!
My business is at a high elevation; does this change anything when I order gas cooking equipment?
Many gas equipment manufacturers need to make adjustments to the equipment so it operates correctly at elevations over 2,000 feet. Sometimes we can special order from the manufacturer and have your cooking equipment delivered ready-to-go, but in cases where your unit is in stock and waiting to ship, you’ll need to have a qualified service technician come to your location and alter your unit at the time of installation so that it is compatible with a higher elevation. This versatile unit combines Asian and Western cooking techniques that allow you to produce the tasty meats of your choice in minimum time. With the ability to hold up to 175 lb. of ribs, 24 chickens, or 55 lb. of tenderloin, this unit is ideal for keeping up with demands in your busy commercial kitchen.
Featuring fiberglass-insulated, double wall construction, this unit's galvanized steel exterior and aluminized steel interior with epoxy coated legs is designed to withstand rigorous use in your establishment. Five gas burners deliver a total of 75,000 BTU of cooking power, and temperatures may be thermostatically controlled from 150 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. Plus, a safety pilot system is included for maximum operator security.
Ribs and tenderloin may be suspended from the six included skewers on two cooking levels, and flavorful smoke is generated by the drip shields during the cooking process. A safety grate and water pan are also included for optimum results. For even more cooking options, pair this unit with a smokehouse accessory kit (sold separately).
