Designed to accommodate up to 30 lb. of food product, the scale displays weights in a variety of units, including lb., oz., and grams on the large, easy-to-read 7-segment LCD display, which features a 45-degree viewing angle. This scale can be used in walk-in coolers and for light receiving, and features molded-in plastic handles for convenient use. Plus, since it's field recalibratable, the unit is easy to adjust over time to ensure all measurements are consistently accurate.

IP67 rated as dust tight and protected against immersion in water up to one meter deep, this waterproof scale is great for weighing anything from fresh fish to leafy greens and produce. Its battery compartment is waterproof sealed, and the power jack hole is sealed by the plug, to prevent food juices, grease, crumbs, and other food particles from causing damage or contamination. The stainless steel platform is removable and can easily be washed.

This scale makes it easy to evaluate a container's weight every time with its Under / Accept / Over feature and corresponding LED light indicators (yellow / green / red, respectively). It also includes 10 customizable memory buttons for the Under / Accept / Over feature for the most common weights in your kitchen, along with writeable blank spaces under each one that can be written on.

Prior to use, make sure the scale is set to zero by pressing the 'tare' button. After an extended period of disuse, the unit will automatically shut off, helping to conserve energy. This scale's easy-to-use buttons include on/tare, mode/calibration, zero, and off. It operates with a UL / CUL / CE approved dual voltage AC power supply and features a side-mounted power jack, which helps eliminate broken power supplies. It can also operate with 2 AA batteries (sold separately).
