Heated 18" Platens

This unit's dual platens are heated, which allows you to press thinner products. The heat also aids dough flow while keeping it from shrinking back, and permits the dough to be pressed in as little as 1 - 3 seconds, even straight from the refrigeration unit. The wide 18" diameter allows you to do multiple small dough balls, or one large one.

Variable Thickness Control

This press comes with a wide range of thickness settings, allowing you to set it from ultra-thin to 7/8" thick.

Cam Over-Lock

For added safety, the cam over-lock linkage keeps the upper platen in a pressing position until an operator lifts the handle

Swing-Out Bottom Platen

The bottom platen swings out for easy loading and unloading. Simply pull it out, load your dough balls, put it back into the pressing position, and when you are done pressing, swing the platen back out to unload the tortillas.

Easy to Use

In addition to its intuitive design, this press also features a digital temperature control to display the current reading and an illuminated on/off switch. A heat indicating light notifies users when the set temperature is reached, and the press is ready for use.
