No. The cleaning solution in these wipes should not come in contact with human skin and will not work as a hand sanitizer.

Easily clean off probes between uses with a Cooper-Atkins 9150-0-8 anti-bacterial thermometer probe wipe. This wipe is made with 70% isopropyl alcohol for a guaranteed clean, eliminating bacteria to prevent cross-contamination in the kitchen. It's especially convenient when checking on raw meat or other ingredients before measuring the temperature of prepared product.
Each 2" x 2" wipe is separately packaged for single use and is easy to dispose. Just tear open a packet, remove the wipe, and use it to clean the probe. When finished, toss the wipe in the trash. Its simplicity is ultra-convenient in busy kitchens when sinks are full and there's little time between product checks.
