Food safety is the name of the game in the foodservice industry and whether you are checking a delivery of frozen sirloin steaks, or cooking and holding a pork roast, food-safe temperatures must be maintained. Cooper-Atkins has developed the EconoTemp line of thermocouples and kits to assist you with your food safety program. The 32322-K EconoTemp Plus thermocouple features a protective rubber boot which makes it easy to grip, protects the instrument from water, and also provides impact resistance in case of a fall. The molded tabs on the side of the boot will hold a temperature probe (sold separately) when not in use. For added convenience, this thermocouple can be used with any Cooper-Atkins Type-K probe, allowing you to choose the probe that best suits your needs.

The 32322-K has an expanded measuring range of -40 to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit with improved accuracy in the lower temperature range. Readings are accurate to within + / - 1 degree of the actual temperature in the -40 to 495 degree Fahrenheit range, and within + / - 2 degrees of accuracy for the remainder of the range. This versatile instrument will give you a precise reading on everything from frozen fish filets, to raw hamburger meat, to a pot of chicken noodle soup. You can easily toggle back and forth between Fahrenheit and Celsius using the F/C button, and the included AAA batteries provide 4500 hours of use. After 10 minutes of non-use, the automatic shut-off feature is enabled to conserve battery power.
