Cooper-Atkins 94028-K Details

Food safety is the name of the game in the foodservice industry and whether you are checking a delivery of frozen sirloin steaks or cooking a pork roast, food-safe temperatures must be maintained. That's why Cooper-Atkins has developed the EconoTemp line of thermocouples and kits to assist you with your food safety program. The 94028-K EconoTemp type-K thermocouple thermometer kit with MicroNeedle probe and wall-mount bracket includes a 32311-K thermocouple with a protective rubber boot that makes the instrument water-resistant, shock-resistant, and easy to grip. The molded tab on the side of the boot holds the probe of choice when not in use.

With a measuring range of -40 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and accuracy within + / - 1 degree of the temperature reading, this versatile instrument will give you a precise reading on everything from frozen fish filets to a pot of chicken noodle soup. You can toggle back and forth between Fahrenheit and Celsius using the F/C button, and the included AAA batteries provide 4500 hours of use. After 10 minutes of inactivity, the automatic shut-off feature is enabled to conserve battery power. The included bracket allows you mount this unit directly to the wall where it's needed for quick and convenient access.

This kit includes the 50209-K MicroNeedle thermocouple thermometer probe. This probe is ideal for use with liquids and in sous vide applications, as well as for thin, fragile, or semi-solid foods (such as meat patties or shrimp). The device features a 3 1/2" stainless steel shaft with a 1 mm diameter, round-tipped needle, which won't damage delicate food products after insertion. It has an impressive temperature range of -100 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and provides accurate temperature readings in as little as 1 second when immersed in liquids. The probe is attached to a 48" coiled cable that retracts and expands, making it easy to attach to an instrument needed for operation. Plus, in order to ensure that it's readily visible and not easily misplaced or bumped during use, the cable features a bright yellow, polyurethane, outer jacket. This probe should not be used with highly acidic or alkaline food products.

Kit Includes:
- 32311-K thermocouple instrument
- 50209-K MicroNeedle probe
- 9368 wall-mount bracket
