Easily steam healthy and delicious meals with the Cleveland CEM1648 ConvectionPro XVI electric convection steamer! This steamer has two pressureless compartments that each hold eight full size 12" x 20" food pans or four 18" x 26" sheet pans for maximum versatility. Its powerful pressurized boiler uses 42.9 kW to beautifully steam vegetables, seafood, rice, and more in your busy commercial kitchen!

Since this model uses a pressureless convection steam system, it allows you to do batch or a la carte cooking. The system allows the door to be opened and closed during cooking so you can add or remove different items at the right times. Each compartment has steam convection jets that circulate steam without fans while coved corners inside the unit aid in even steam distribution.

Simple, easy-to-use solid state controls keep your kitchen on track. The on/off switch, 60 minute mechanical timer, and constant steaming bypass give you the control you want in each compartment. Instant steam standby mode holds the generator at the right temperature so that when you are ready to cook you'll have steam right away. An array of automatic features like automatic water fill, level monitoring, and drainage make this unit incredibly simple and safe to operate.

Each compartment in this steamer features a durable 10 gauge stainless steel construction for both the solid door and the cooking cavity. The stainless steel slide racks are removable for convenient cleaning. Also, each compartment features a heavy-duty one piece door to stand up to frequent opening and closing, and each door has a replaceable gasket help prevent leaks.

This steamer features unique NickelGuard protection that creates a hard film, similar in durability to stainless steel, on the 15 PSI boiler. This protective coating resists scale and corrosion, and when coupled with the automatic blowdown system, helps to dramatically improve boiler life and function! A high-limit pressure switch, gauge, and valve are also included for additional boiler safety. This unit requires a 208V electrical connection for operation.
