Countertop Induction Range

This kit features a 208-240V, 3500 watt Avantco countertop wok induction range (Item #177IWC35 - see product page for details). The compact size paired with the light weight element bring convenience and portability to your station. It accommodates up to a 14" wok and requires a 240V electrical connection for operation.

Professional Presentation

All the components of this kit are conveniently contained in the Regency 16-gauge 304 stainless steel base. It includes (1) 1/3 size and (6) 1/6 size stainless steel steam table pans for keeping ingredients on hand has well as providing convenient storage. The stainless steel construction creates a sleek and professional presentation, while also providing exceptional organization to keep your station operating with ease.

Ideal Temperature

The pans are ideal for both hot and cold food, and settle directly into the base with ease. The heat energy absorbs immediately into the cookware, allowing you to cook food quickly and efficiently. The surface of the range only heats the bottom of induction-ready cookware and does not retain heat, making it safer for use around guests. Can this induction range handle any pan capacity?

Most induction ranges do not have specified weight or pan capacities, but make sure to check the manual. The key to ensuring your range works properly and does not get damaged by too much weight is to use a pan with a bottom diameter that does not exceed the burner's diameter. Using a larger pan or pot, such as a stock pot, will lessen the effectiveness of the range and the quality of your food. Please note a warped or uneven bottom, a very dirty pan/pot bottom, or a chipped or cracked pot/pan might cause error codes.

How does ambient temperature affect this induction range?

Do not install in areas where other equipment can exhaust directly into the induction range. All models require adequate unrestricted intake and exhaust air ventilation for proper operation of the controls. The maximum intake temperature must not exceed 110F (43C). Temperatures are measured in ambient air while all appliances in the kitchen are in operation.

My induction range blinks even when it's turned off. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal. This unit blinks to indicate a standby mode, signaling it is plugged in and ready for operation.

What clearances are needed for this induction range?

Countertop models require a minimum clearance of 3 inches (7.6 cm) at the rear and a minimum clearance under the Induction range of a distance equal to the height of the feet of the Induction range. Some units draws air from below. It must not be placed on a soft surface that could restrict airflow to the bottom of the unit.

What's the best way to use my Avantco countertop / drop-in induction range?

These induction ranges are designed for display cooking and other light-duty applications. They are not intended for use with large, heavy stock pots filled with water.
