As Irene K. mentioned, this glass is specifically designed and regulated by INAO, a French government organization, for professional wine tasting. So its nosing copita like shape is to evaluate wines not to enjoy them. Well, that makes this glass perfect for whisky and beer tasting, too. It is very convenient to hold its not-long-nor-short stem to observe aroma and flavor or whisky or beer. And the size of bowl is exact volume to hold a sip of your drink. Overall, this glass is excellent for not only the time to open a new bottle of whisky, beer, or wine but also for day-to-day use.
