This is a great quality and very durable product. it's weight and surface texture helps getting a better grip and consequently a more precise cut of the food item. They are softer on the knives blades and work smoother than the plastic counterparts.

Gripper than poly and less maintenance than wood, it's worth considering for its grip and gentleness to knives. Cutting food is easier as ingredients stay in place. Stains are superficial and can be sanded off with 60 grit sandpaper easily. Dishwasher safe, and can handle a 6 ft drop to a tile floor with minimal damage. It's also great as a grippy surface for other cutting boards (in case you want to cut meat).

These are better than the standard cutting boards. they dont warp, are high density, and great for butchering meat and/or fish on as they are heavier. And if they get marked up you can sand them down to "refinish" it.

Absolutely heavy duty. A small emphasis on heavy. Has been fantastic, doesn't slide around on the granite at all. A few stains band marks but it is a cutting board. Disinfects and deodorizes easily. A great purchase if want a great cutting board and bicep work out.

This cutting board rocks. It is dense, but softer than wood or poly surfaces, very knife edge friendly. It has a small coefficient of rubber-like "grippiness", and is my now my most favored cutting board, in a collection of 8, highly recommended.
