I purchased this board for myself, but will be purchasing one for my business as well. Very heavy, quality material. Easy to clean. Easy on the eyes.

This cutting board is very good for shaping bread. It is a nice size for baguettes or challah. This board has a nice resistance for bread shaping.

I think that every modern kitchen should have one of these 12" x 18" wooden cutting boards. I use it for cutting, chopping, dicing and slicing as well as rolling and shaping dough. I also use it when the baseboard is not clean and when the clean surface is needed. This board is rock-solid and slightly heavy so if you have arthritis then you should think it over about getting this board. I think that this board can last decades, and then you can just flip it over and use the other side! To condition this board I use plain J&J baby oil, since it works. The actual board that I received had slightly curved edges and there are also recessed holes on the sides for the fingers to grip-on to when lifting the board. For just $20.49 it is an excellent value.
