    I have used this knife for years. I mostly use it to cut rib eye steaks from the rack. It works perfectly because I like the length and it holds an edge as long as I use it just for the meat.

    Wayyyyyy too big. That was my fault. But I don't know who would use something this large. If I were doing some major butchering I would get something better quality.

    I have one of these knives and I love using it for everything. It is nice and sharp and does not go dull. I usually use it for meat but the sharpness allows it to be used for anything. LOVE IT

    I was tired of using short knives. Picked up this 12 inch chef knife, I love it. I never use my smaller ones now. Its actually light for its size about 7.5 oz with a blade width of 2.36mm. It wasn't the sharpest knife out of the box but uses good steel. Overall very happy and would recommend this.

    For a long time I wanted to have my own chef knife that had a 12-inch blade, so I decided to buy this knife because in the book Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain, he suggest that the inexpensive chef knifes are very popular and that most chefs and cooks prefer them over the expensive Wusthofs and Henkels. The handle of the knife is ergonomical and the whole knife feels very solid when in hands. The blade is razor-sharp and cuts vegetables, fruits, meats and cheeses with ease. Another thing is that you have to be very careful while washing this chef knife by hands since it is very sharp. When I was washing the blade after the 4th use, I got carried away and accidentally slices the inner palm of my hand, so I suggest that for everyone to be careful with this knife since it is very sharp as I found out on myself.
