Its removable plug and stainless steel housing make for easy cleaning, and a built-in micro switch also allows you to safely change bulbs. Protective Tray Lock

Because it measures a mere 14 1/2" x 5" x 11", this space-saving insect zapper is perfect for tight locations. Its slim design allows you to easily mount it to any wall, therefore conserving valuable space in your business. Efficient Bulbs

Plus, each bulb contains a chemical coating that maximizes the amount of UV light it transmits. To maintain the bulb's coating and the trap's optimum effectiveness, replace bulbs every 9-12 months, ideally at the beginning of Spring.

This unit provides insect control over an average 1150 sq. ft. area in your store, warehouse, or office. This coverage area may vary depending on the layout of your room, how often the door is open, how much traffic the area receives, and the number of insects in the area. Can this insect trap be used in a barn?

This insect trap is for indoor settings. However, it is not recommended to use it in a setting like a barn due to the dry atmosphere, hay, and straw.

I removed the collection tray for cleaning and now the unit won't turn back on. Is it broken?

There is a microswitch on each unit that automatically switches to “off” when the tray is removed for cleaning. This switch is located in the sideboard, near the tray. Check to make sure that when the tray is put back in, the microswitch is not still in the “off” position. If it is, switch it back to "on" and the unit should resume its normal function.

Is this bug zapper / light trap a good fit for the space I have?

Most bug zappers and light traps list a coverage area in square footage, which can serve as a good guideline, but it’s also important to think about placement. The best way to maximize the effectiveness of your unit is to set the trap strategically in a highly visible location so that the light can be seen from multiple angles.
