Thanks to its tall sides and wide, thick base that generates a good slow simmer, this Vollrath 3104 Centurion 17 1/2 qt. stock pot is ideal for preparing soups, cooking pasta, large vegetables, steaming and boiling lobster! A stock pot's tall, narrow profile also helps preserve liquids longer and forces them to bubble up through the ingredients in the pot, maximizing flavor transfer.

This stock pot features a 1/4" thick aluminum clad bottom for quick, even heat distribution. A thin bottom wafer of stainless steel provides increased durability, and makes this stock pot induction ready!

This stock pot's 18-8 stainless steel construction won't pit or discolor, and helps limit flavor transfer. Two sturdy loop handles enable easy transport and pouring.
