Thanks to its tall sides and wide, thick base that generates a good slow simmer, this Vollrath 3101 Centurion 6 1/2 qt. stock pot is ideal for preparing soups, cooking pasta, large vegetables, steaming and boiling lobster! A stock pot's tall, narrow profile also helps preserve liquids longer and forces them to bubble up through the ingredients in the pot, maximizing flavor transfer.

This stock pot features a 1/4" thick aluminum clad bottom for quick, even heat distribution. A thin bottom wafer of stainless steel provides increased durability, and makes this stock pot induction ready!

This stock pot's 18-8 stainless steel construction won't pit or discolor, and helps limit flavor transfer. Two sturdy loop handles enable easy transport and pouring. This Vollrath stock pot is very attractive!!! Great size for making soup or homemade stock at home! I love the double handle feature for added safety!!
