Hello! My name is Fabrizio Bottero, Executive Chef for Waring. Let's talk about the FP1000 Food Processor, 2 hp. With the continuous feed chute, work bowl, blades, disks, cutting assembly, everything that you would need for a food preparation appliance is here. Let's put it together; let's assemble it. Let me show you how easy it is. I'm going to put my safety gloves on, and we'll start off with the batch bowl. Everything is written right here in front of the batch bowl assembly. Twist left to right, snap it in place, you have the blade, it goes right in, always grab it by the hub. You have the cover, left to right again. And large feed tube...small feed tube. This will do one clove of garlic, or a kilo of bread dough. Two buttons: on and pulse. Pulse and on. We're going to throw one clove of garlic and see exactly what it does. Look at that. Even one small clove of garlic will be chopped into tiny, tiny little pieces. In order to remove the cover, you just turn it clockwise, and here it is. You can remove the blade by the hub, or continue doing any tasks. At this point I'm going to chop some basil. Here we go. Right back on...and I will use the pulse button. Look how evenly everything is chopped. Voila! Remove the blade, and place your food in your food preparation area, in a bowl, prep board, cutting board, anywhere you'd like. Okay? First task: chopping. Then we're going to assemble it and use all the disks that come with. And let me show you how. Now we're going to talk about the processing disks that come with the FP1000. First of all, make sure that the work bowl is properly locked into place. We have an interlock system here, unless it's locked into place, it's not going to work. We have the shredding disk with a two finger holes, it goes right into the work bowl. You have the cover. Again, with the interlock system, unless it's in place, it won't work. See? You have to snap it in place. Okay? Shredding some cheese... very, very easy. Place the cheese inside. You have the pusher. Very light pressure. Pulse button, and here we go. That's how easy it is. I'm going to remove the cover, and I'm going to put (again you can take the blade right with the finger holds) and I'm going to put my cheese on my cutting board, and then we're going to process some julienne. We'll do a potato. We'll do some French fries. Snap it in place again, grab the julienne. It goes right in. Remember the finger holes, very easy to operate. It goes right in. You have the cover, again with the finger-lock inside. And we have a potato. Pulse button. And now we have our julienne potato. Remove it (the disk). And here's our beautiful potato. And last but not least, we're going to slice (there's no finger holes here, so just hold the disk by the side and just place it in.) It should snap right in. Here we go, it snaps right in. And here comes my pepper to slice. Little pressure on the feed tube. Pulse button. And now we're dicing. Remove the blade carefully on the side. And here's our beautifully sliced pepper. So as you can see, you have all of the disks to do anything, from slicing to shredding, to julienne. And now that we're done with the batch bowl processing, let's go into the continuous feed chute. We have assemble everything in order for everything to work. So, we start off with the continuous feed chute at a 45 degree angle. We place the ejector disk this side up, obviously with the ridges on top. We have the dicing grid, which is 3/8 that comes with the machine... snaps right in place. Finger hole with the 3/8 dicing, slicing disk. The cover, right on top, snap it in place. Unless you snap it in place, it won't work. See? Now it'll work. We have some tomatoes that we're going to dice. Put it right into the feed tube. Pulse button. Pusher. A little bit more. And look how easy it is. One, two, three... and here it is. Beautifully diced tomatoes. Next we're going to do some peppers. I want to dice some peppers. I have some right here. Obviously every time you dice a different fruit or vegetable, you would clean the dicing grid so it's better, but just to show you how easy it is to dice some peppers.... Beautiful. Look at that! Yellow, red, green.... Perfect! Now, the same way you can dice, we can also slice and shred in here. And let met show you how to put it together. Great! First let me show you how safely and promptly to disassemble this chute attachment... very, very easily done. So what you do first, is you remove the bowl, you turn it counter-clockwise. There's a lever right here that lifts up the cover. There is a very readable unlock and lock sign right in front. I usually life the entire bowl so it's much easier to unlock it. It comes right up. That's really the easiest way to do this. Let's clean the dicing grid. You have the dicing grid right here. What I usually do is either on the surface, the plastic surface of the bowl... I just slightly tap it to remove most of the excess, and then I use the dicing grid right here to push all the rest of everything that's in the grid in your bowl. Place it in the dishwasher, and then you're ready to slice and shred in the continuous feed chute. Okay, so I showed you to slice in batches, now let me show you how to slice in larger volume. Obviously with a continuous feed chute. 45 degree angle just like before... ejected disk, this side up (the ridges) just like before and the slicing disk goes right in. The cover. Snap it in place, remember. Always snap it in place. And here we go. Let's put some zucchini... pulse. Beautiful. Zucchini... pulse... flawless. Perfect. Obviously everything else you'll want to do just like this slicing disk. You can remove one of the disks and add another one, whether you want to do cheese... slice, shred, or julienne. Now, remember that everything that comes with is dishwasher safe ... all the poly-carbonate... cover, ejected disk, pusher, work bowl, chute attachment, all dishwasher safe. So it's very easy to clean. Enjoy your food processor... 2 hp. Get ready to go for a beautiful meal. Thank you.
