How to roll sushi. To make hosomaki, fold and tear a piece of seaweed paper in half. Place on sushi mat. Wet hands. Take rice and mold to fit seaweed paper. Fill with desired ingredients. Roll mat once, then smooth edges. Roll mat again. Cut into pieces and serve. For futomaki, place full size piece of seaweed on sushi mat. Mold rice to fit seaweed paper. Fill with desired ingredients. Roll mat once, then smooth edges. Roll mat again. Cut into pieces and serve. To make uramaki, Cover sushi mat in plastic wrap, then place full size piece of seaweed paper on mat. Mold rice to fit seaweed paper. Sprinkle seeds on top. Flip seaweed paper over and place desired ingredients on the back of the seaweed paper. Roll once, smooth edges, and roll again. Cut and serve. For temaki, tear seaweed paper in half. Lay rice and other desired ingredients on one side. Roll into a cone and serve.
