Lift heavy steel drums from the comfort and safety of the fork truck seat with this Vestil DGS-55-D steel 55 gallon drum gripper - 1,400 lb. capacity. This drum gripper easily grips and lifts (1) 55 gallon steel or plastic drum with the assistance of a fork truck, which is required for operation. The knuckle-grip design holds drums securely to prevent movement during transport, while the clever drum release action allows drums to release automatically when the forks are lowered.

The gripper is constructed of heavy-duty, welded steel with a resilient powder-coated finish for superior durability and resistance to scratching, chipping, and weathering. The arms fold to save space when storing. The unit has a uniform weight capacity of 1,500 lb. Additionally, the bright yellow finish increases visibility, which comes in handy when transporting drums containing hazardous materials.
