How do I know if my Tor Rey scale has a 6V Battery?

Tor Rey units manufactured prior to 2018 use a 6V battery and will need the Tor Rey Z-21900706 9V AC adapter. To tell if your unit was manufactured prior to January 2018, please reference the serial number and battery voltage on your scale's serial plate.

The serial number for L-EQ-5/10-HS, L-EQ-10/20-HS, PC40L-HS, PC80L-HS, and LPC40L-HS units should read Z-21900003 if they are manufactured prior to 2018. Additionally, if the battery voltage reads 6 VDC, you will need the 9V AC adapter.

This portion control scale can toggle among kilograms, pounds, and ounces to deliver versatility and pinpoint accuracy. And thanks to its rechargeable 100-hour battery, you can be sure this unit will stay powered for days at a time, even without a nearby outlet.

Made of stainless steel for easy cleaning and long-lasting durability, this rechargeable portion control scale features a large 7 7/8" x 9 5/8" platform and progressive tare function designed to offset the weight of containers and independently measure ingredient portions as you mix them. Plus, the adapter cable is about 5 feet for added convenience. The backlit, alphanumeric LCD screen clearly shows the weight of portioned items, even in dark areas. For total user control, this scale also comes with a Set Limit feature to program a maximum weight for certain foods. And to promote accurate and consistent record keeping, this scale can easily hook up to a PC or printer with its RS-232 data port.

The Tor Rey L-EQ-5/10 comes with a 110V power supply. It is rated as Class III accuracy for commercial weighing.
