The scale's 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" weighing platform features a durable stainless steel construction; it can be used along with a bowl or other weighing container while providing an easy-to-clean removable surface suitable for food products to be placed on directly. The "tare" function eliminates container weights to provide a true product weight reading, while "hold" ensures previous readings remain on the screen for your convenience. This model also features automatic shut-off to help conserve battery life and includes 2 AAA batteries for operation. A power adaptor (sold separately) may also be used to power the scale.
