Hydraulically controlled for exceptionally quiet operation, this Stiebel Eltron 202654 DHC Classic copper tankless electric water heater is designed for installation at the point of use in your hotel, school, or gas station! This energy-efficient unit uses up to 9 kW of power and an exclusive copper sheathed heating element housed in a copper cylinder to heat water instantaneously as it flows through the machine for complete elimination of standby heat loss. Activated by a minimum 0.8 GPM flow rate, it features an exclusive design with a flow switch that prevents dry-firing and premature failure as well as a high-limit switch with manual reset for optimum safety and peace of mind.

This updated DHC Classic water heater provides the reliable heating of the original DHC series but packaged in a more sleek, modern design. The attractive high-impact polycarbonate housing blends in great in any restroom and is sure to provide years of consistent service. There's no T&P relief valve needed, and this unit can be easily installed with its 1/2" NPT connections and compact, wall-mounted design. Plus, its tankless design prevents bacteria growth. It requires a 277V electrical connection for operation.
