My business is at a high elevation; does this change anything when I order gas cooking equipment?
Many gas equipment manufacturers need to make adjustments to the equipment so it operates correctly at elevations over 2,000 feet. Sometimes we can special order from the manufacturer and have your cooking equipment delivered ready-to-go, but in cases where your unit is in stock and waiting to ship, you’ll need to have a qualified service technician come to your location and alter your unit at the time of installation so that it is compatible with a higher elevation. Enhance your candy making operation with this Savage Bros candy stove kit. This kit includes a liquid propane-powered stove that produces between 90,000 to 110,000 BTU. The rugged, 32-jet cast iron burner ensures consistent, even heating, and the jets are removable for simplified cleaning and easy replacement. With a batch capacity of up to 45 lb., this oven is capable of cooking a variety of delicious confectionary treats. Its insulated, double-walled stainless steel construction guarantees long-lasting use. The cast aluminum legs deliver added strength and feature an antique design that looks great in any old-fashioned candy shop.
This kit also includes a portable agitator / kettle mixer for hands-free stirring and mixing. It features a 23-28 RPM motor and spring-loaded scrapers to remove any buildup from the surface of the kettle. It also boasts a breaker bar for enhanced mixing action. For added protection, the safety switch allows operation only when the unit is level. It requires a 120V, 1 phase connection for operation.
This kit features an 11 gallon copper kettle. The kettle boasts a one-piece construction made of heavy-gauge, spun copper, and it has stainless steel handles and reinforced handle mounts for secure lifting and pouring. It is easy to clean thanks to its smooth surface, and it promotes excellent heat transfer for fast, even heating.
This kit comes complete with a 120V digital probe thermometer. This thermometer features a sensor probe for precise, accurate readings, and it has both a set-point function and easy-to-read temperature display. It comes equipped with an audible alarm that alerts the user when the set-point temperature is reached. Plus, it is mounted to a convenient stand, making it easy to transport and setup wherever you need it.
