Customer questions about this product
- How fast does this coffee urn brew?
- According to the manufacturer, this coffee urn can brew less than a minute per cup.
- What kind of coffee filters are needed for this product?
- All of our coffee machine urns do not require the use of a coffee filter. The metal basket containing the coffee grounds within the urn has small holes that allow the passage of liquid but restrict the grounds from passing through.
- There are 16 cups in a gallon. Why do coffee urns with similar gallon capacities have different cup amounts listed?
- Coffee urn manufacturers use different size cups to measure the output of each urn, commonly 3.5 oz., 5 oz., or 8 oz. To figure out how many cups you’ll get using your existing dinnerware, simply convert the urn’s gallons to ounces and divide by the ounce size of your coffee cups or mugs!

I have bought 2 of these 101 cuppers. We use them every weekend and are never disappointed. We fill them about an hour or so before dinner and as soon as dessert time comes the coffee is ready; hot and fresh. The quality is definitely more than the price.

This urn works great! It's a little wider and shorter than our previous 100-cup urn, which makes it very stable. The finish is very attractive.

We have purchased 4 of these units for our church and 1 for ourselves. Will be purchasing 2 more for ourselves. They work great and are perhaps the best for the price and brewing quantity. You will have to periodically clean the heating hole in the middle. It will work much better. Brew Time: Up to 60 cups about 45 minutes. Over 60 cups up to 70 minutes. We grind our own coffee. We mix 3 different brands and use the following amounts: For every 20 cups of water add 1 cup (8 oz.) then 1 additional for a total of 16 oz.. Example-20 cups of water: would=2 cups of ground coffee. Example-80 cups of water: would=5+ cups of ground coffee. Example-100 cups of water: would=6-7 cups of ground coffee. DO NOT USE STARBUCKS GROUND COFFEE in this machine. It will clog everything. Most types of finely ground/bitter coffee will clog this machine. Some of our friends use a pinch of salt when brewing. If you are going to have the coffee sit for a while before use, suggest that you remove the grinds. Use a hot pad and dump into a double lined trashed container. We pour filtered water into the units the night before, premeasure the ground coffee into an air tight container and then just before we turn on the brewers, dump the ground coffee in the brewing basket. Saves a tremendous amount of set-up time the day of the event. Use proper extensions / receptacles -designed for proper amperage / wattage. They work better that way! I can't say enough about the ease of use of this brewer. Enjoy!

This is an excellent coffee maker for large gatherings. I use it every Sunday morning at our Church to make the coffee for the followship time between service and Sunday school. I will order this product again as needed.
