This Philips PFE7023D semi-recessed mount AED cabinet with strobe and alarm is the perfect way to keep your Philips Forerunner, OnSite, FR2, FR2+, FRx, or FR3 AED visible and ready to use at a moment's notice! Every second counts when performing a rescue for a cardiac emergency, so make sure that the first people on the scene have easy access to life-saving equipment. This cabinet clearly marks the location of your AED in a windowed compartment so that it can be retrieved easily. Underneath the AED, it has room for additional accessories and supplies to aid in AED maintenance and preparedness. It comes with an audible alarm and a bright strobe light that are activated when the door is opened, which notifies you and other people in the facility that a rescue is in progress. Power for the strobe light is provided through the alarm system - simply connect the strobe to the receptacle on the side of the alarm box. The alarm and strobe system uses two 9V batteries (sold separately) to keep installation simple, and it has a low battery "chirp" to alert you when the batteries need changed. This is a semi-recessed cabinet and requires a cutout within the wall. The cabinet will stick out slightly from the wall, which helps to keep it visible without taking up as much space as a surface-mount cabinet.
