How often should I clean my beer lines?

For optimal results, all beer lines and equipment should be cleaned with the alkaline solution every two weeks, or with each new flavor/type of product. It is recommended that the acid solution be used after every four or five cleanings. When finished, pay close attention to the water color. If there are still chemicals present, the water will still be color-tinted. Always verify with pH paper as well to ensure that all chemicals have been rinsed out.

This twin-alkaline formula penetrates embedded residue on heavily soiled, case hardened, and problematic beer lines, making it ideal for very long draw, glycol-cooled, and neglected or older draft systems. It can be used with any type of draft cleaning equipment. This cleaner dissolves quickly in any temperature water, and it only requires 1 oz. per gallon of water, making it an efficient choice.
