Use it to craft full-flavored hard ciders, kombucha, moonshine, wine, or apple mead. In addition to its impressive shelf life, the concentrate does not require refrigeration - even after it has been opened - to make storage as convenient as possible.

Easy to Prepare

To prepare, simply add 7 oz. of water to 1 oz. of concentrate and mix to enjoy an 8 oz. serving of hot cider. For a more spice forward flavor, try mixing 1 oz. of concentrate with 5 oz. of hot water. Enhance your cup of hot spiced apple cider by using the steaming wand on your espresso machine to churn the cider for added froth and aroma. Customize the beverage by garnishing with a cinnamon stick and whipped cream, or by adding in flavoring syrups, teas, fruits, and additional spices.

The Mountain Cider Company is a 2nd generation family-owned company that produces their all-natural spiced apple cider concentrate on their own apple orchard in Vermont. Their business began by solving their own problems - their farm also grew Christmas trees, and each customer that bought a tree also got a free cup of hot apple cider. However, it was difficult to predict how much cider was needed on a given day due to the unpredictable New England climate, and this often led to overproducing or underproducing cider for their stand. When the idea hit to use a maple syrup evaporator to evaporate the apple cider into a concentrate, it wasn't long before word of their concentrated cider spread and their business grew from selling the products in their farm store to filling the various markets in the industry's commercial segment.
