How is the weight capacity determined for this mobile shelving unit?
The weight capacity of each mobile shelving unit is determined by the type of caster. Polyurethane casters have a total load rating of 900 Ibs. Rubber casters have a total load rating of 600 Ibs. The amount and or type of shelves do not affect the weight capacity.

This strong and versatile Metro Super Erecta F536EG galvanized solid shelving unit is perfect for keeping your storage area neatly organized. It features four polyurethane swivel casters so you can easily maneuver it, while two of them lock to keep the unit securely in place. All four shelves can be adjusted at 1" intervals along the entire height of the unit, giving you complete freedom to store extra ingredients or equipment any way you like.
Each of the strong solid shelves features a raised edge along the perimeter to keep items from slipping off the shelves and to help contain any spills. The unit's galvanized shelves and chrome-plated posts keep it looking great even after heavy use. Each shelving unit comes with four shelves, posts, plastic split sleeves, donut bumpers, and polyurethane swivel casters (2 locking).
