A very decent knife great for slicing, dicing, and chopping. The blade seems to lose its edge rather quickly but a few swipes on the steel and its right back to razor sharp. Good knife for the price all in all

I've never been a big fan of asian knives, but the natural rocking motion of the santoku blade has been nice for preparing veggie trays. The handle provides plenty of grip when used with wet gloves and the granton edge allows me to cut cheeses with a wet blade without the cheese sticking to the knife.

This is great if you need a nice grip, it is also great for personal identification if you are going to school or work in a big kitchen

Mercer makes nice knives for beginner cooks! This is a great knife to learn how to cook with!! Very comfortable and attractive handle! Very sharp blade!!

I use this knife for almost everything. It comes razor sharp and holds it edge well. The carbon steel blade sharpens easily. Grip is very comfortable and is great when you are cutting all day long. I highly recommend this knife and this knife series.
