This Matfer 113090 15" spatula with thermometer allows you to stir ingredients and simultaneously keep an eye on the temperature. Its simple, two piece construction makes it a handy tool for all your baking or cooking needs. You no longer have to juggle a thermometer and a spoon - this tool is two utensils built into one.

This spatula is heat resistant up to 482 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring it keeps its original shape and does not lose form. Made from natural, non-porous and non-stick materials, this spatula keeps things sanitary, makes cleanup easier, and most importantly - it won't scratch your pans. It is also dishwasher safe once the thermometer is removed.

Perfect for recipes with tricky, temperature-sensitive ingredients, use it for melting chocolate, stirring sauces, or any other ingredients. The temperature is clearly displayed on the digital display screen at the end of the handle and the thermometer is extended down to the end of the spatula. This ensures that the probe is properly submerged (at least 1 1/4") and can accurately read temperatures. Pressing the hold button will keep the current temperature displayed on the screen - the probe will not show any changes in temperature.

The thermometer portion of this utensil is temperature resistant / reads from -4 to 482 degrees Fahrenheit and can display temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. To change the unit of measure from Fahrenheit or Celsius simply press and hold the min/max button. Pressing the max button on the thermometer will display the max temperature since the probe was turned on. Pressing the min button will display the min temperature since the probe was turned on. To return to current temperature simply press the button again. The thermometer can be separated from the spatula and used as a traditional probe thermometer, or leave it in for all your stirring needs.
