The bulbs attract insects that are zapped on electrically charged, high-voltage metal grids that won't clog and are protected by an outer mesh. The pests are collected in an easy-glide tray that pulls out for quick emptying and highly effective, sanitary insect control. This unit features a slim aluminum alloy body that won't rust, crack, or fade which makes it ideal for indoor commercial use in factories, hospitals, offices, or warehouses. Its compact size combines with the included hardware for simple, unobtrusive mounting. The coverage area varies depending on the layout of the room, how often the door is open, how much traffic the area receives, and the number of insects in the area.

For best results, do not place the zapper in an area with bright lighting as other light sources will draw the bugs' attention. Designed to kill flying pests, this mess-, fume-, and smell-free light trap is a perfect solution for entryways, loading docks, and indoor areas where pests can be a problem. This unit is not recommended for use in food prep areas. Each bulb contains a chemical coating that maximizes the UV light it transmits. To maintain the bulb's coating and the trap's optimum effectiveness, replace bulbs every 9-12 months, ideally at the beginning of spring. This unit's tray should be emptied and cleaned every week (see instructions for maintenance tips). It requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.
