Details

Serve up a classic breakfast side dish that customers love like these Idahoan fresh cut hash brown potatoes. These hash browns are made with real, Idaho-grown potatoes and are only freshly grated and never extruded for a premium taste that crisps to perfection with a golden-brown color. Great for caterers, cafeterias, diners, and comfort food restaurants, offer as a hearty side to your bacon, eggs, and pancakes or place in your buffet line for customers to create their own meal. Additionally, these hash browns are easy to customize with seasonings, toppings, and mix-ins! Use them to create sausage, egg, cheese, and hash brown breakfast casserole for your breakfast crowd or a savory loaded hash brown casserole topped with bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream.

These hash browns can be made by refreshing overnight or in 10-minute or 30-minute increments by filling the carton to the fill line with hot water. They can then be browned on a well-oiled grill at 350 degrees Fahrenheit to 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 4 minutes. Alternatively, the refreshed hash browns can be placed in a full size steam table pan with 1 1/2 cups melted butter, margarine, or oil folded in and paprika or seasoned salt sprinkled atop. Bake in a convection oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes or in a conventional oven at 525 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes.

Idahoan was founded in 1951 when a group of Lewisville, Idaho potato growers banded together to start a potato dehydration plant. The proprietary dehydration process that the farmers developed is still used today as it better preserves the natural taste and texture of potatoes than most dehydrated potato sellers. Over the years, Idahoan has expanded its product portfolio from mashed potatoes to include flavored mashed potatoes, hash browns, soups, and casseroles, and all of Idahoan products always start with the same main ingredient: 100% real Idaho potatoes. Committed to bringing you convenient, shelf-stable products that never compromise on a fresh, homemade taste, Idahoan offers the perfect solution to your high-volume kitchen.
